Smooth transition

Situated within the beautiful grounds of Our Lady’s Primary School, we are a non-denominational, inclusive setting and welcome families from all cultural backgrounds and religions, for children aged 2 to 5 years. We work in partnership with the school to provide smooth transition for children leaving the setting to attend reception class.

The nursery comprises of 2 spacious rooms and an extensive garden, providing equipment and resources to encourage and develop children’s imagination and communication skills through creativity, exploration and discovery.
"They are the best staff and so friendly and caring. I couldn't have asked for a better nursery." - Suzanne Flynn (via Facebook)

Opportunity to grow

The nursery rooms are set out to encompass all aspects of early years learning and development, within a stimulating and creative environment. Equipment and resources are specially selected following the nursery planning and child interests. Projects are born from children’s ideas and extended throughout all areas within the nursery. An emphasis is placed on a ‘free-flow’ approach, where children are encouraged to explore the wide range of activities available to them.

Our extensive garden allows children to move around freely using the play system, tunnel and landscape for role play, exploring the natural environment and developing gross motor skills through physical play. The undercover allotment offers the children the opportunity to grow seeds and understanding growing cycles and get messy in the mud kitchen. The Colour Lab offers children a comfortable outdoor classroom for exploration of colour and creativity.
